We don’t really have the words to go along with this post, so for now we will let the video and photos speak for us… Mommy and baby Maui are doing fantastic and our hearts are filled with love and joy! (Full labor video, plus 15 photos!)
On Earth Day we drove an hour north of our home in Long Beach to hike three and a half miles round trip to Eaton Canyon Falls. It was a beautiful day and Darlene did amazing at 34 weeks pregnant!
Our first week in California was jam-packed with everything from moving back into our house and going to the doctor to hanging out with friends, working and getting our baby’s room ready. This is our final “Travel Update” video to end our series, and we capped it off with some things we learned while circling the globe…
On the final week of our three and a half month trip around the world we were bouncing around between Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas visiting Fat’s family. While in the South we made a stop at Levitate Float Center in Hammond, Louisiana to have our first experience in a float tank!
We are officially back in the U.S., and even though the trip isn’t over and we are technically still traveling we didn’t do enough while hanging out with Darlene’s family for a weekly recap video and photo gallery. Instead we have a hilarious video that explains a handful of things we didn’t even realize missed about our home country until we got back here. Number three will leave you in stitches!
After taking cooking classes in Bali, Thailand, and Vietnam, we decided to end our three months abroad with one final vegan cooking class…in Poland! As a first generation Pole, Darlene grew up eating and helping her mom make traditional Polish foods, so we were really excited about joining the crew at Polish Your Cooking for their Sunday class!
Wow… Can you believe we’ve been traveling for more than 90 days and our time overseas has come to an end? For us it feels like a strange mix of “We’ve been traveling forever!”, and “It seems like we just left yesterday!” Our last week traveling abroad was spent in Warsaw, Poland…
After a week of laying low and visiting family, this week in Krakow, Poland we had a mix of sightseeing, working out, and exploring the city’s best vegan restaurants. We went to Zakopane and Auschwitz Concentration Camp…
After a very full week traveling through Italy last week we had one final stop in Milan this week before flying to Krakow, Poland. From there we bounced back and forth between the city and the small towns where Darlene’s family lives. Oh, and we finally felt the baby kick!
Our tenth week of traveling began our European adventures and was split between Rome and Florence with a day trip to Pisa to end the week. Since leaving Asian the amount of things that changed literally overnight was unbelievable…the weather, the food, the architecture, and of course the prices!
